That is amazing. The colours, the hair and of course the curve of her eyes (how shaded they are around and large but still shaped well with the skin under her eyebrows). Do you draw realistic in your spare time or is this your own art style?
It's not proportioned, that's true but it is truly a beautiful, expressive piece.
Thank you so much for the amazing comment! You just made my day There certainly are lots of flaws especially when it was done in an hour or so. I don't draw realistic, but I guess I'll keep up with this style until I've improved enough. I'm waiting to be able to change gears haha.
I just noticed (after the third time of looking at it) that you weren't getting any comments. Someone had to get the ball rolling.
It makes sense, staying true is much better sometimes but don't be afraid of walking out of your own style once in a while. I've discovered that the human mind is vaster then I previously thought. Our hard drive only needs to be cleaned if it is in a depressive, suppressing cycle. Humans evolve so fast. It kind of scares me!
We are we afraid of the future if the past was much, much scarier?
Well, I'm not really trying to "stay true" to anything, more like going with the flow. Drawing is a pleasure for me and I don't want to put any pressure on it. There are times when I feel a real need to change; but my hard drive hasn't come to a 'depressive, suppressing cycle' yet (At least I don't feel so) Thank you for the advice. I very much appreciate your comment!
